We welcome groups of any size to come enjoy all the things there is to do on our farm during the month of October. No formal reservation is required! Here is some information for your group visit:
Free daily hayrides to the Pumpkin Field:
The free daily hayrides will begin at 10am in October and will run until 5:45pm. Your group can show up anytime during those hours and ride the hay wagons together, or you can walk to the fields, or purchase pre-picked pumpkins.

The Patio Cafe is open daily in October from 9am to 6pm, and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. The Patio Cafe offers grass-fed beef burgers, hot dogs, Gardenburgers, sandwiches, corn, desserts, snacks, and drinks. Our specialty harvest fare booths are open on Labor Day weekend and October weekends. View our menu and prices here. For groups of 25 or more, please email ahead to let us know you are coming. Pre-pay option for group activities and/or food:
You may pre-purchase tickets, or script, in $1.00 increments that can be used anywhere on the the farm. Script can be purchased in The Market by calling (503) 621-3874 ahead of your visit.

Though we don't offer formal birthday party packages, many people choose to celebrate birthdays on the farm. There are the above listed free activities to enjoy in addition to exploring The Maize (group rates available) or riding the Cow Train ($3 per person, weekends). The Cafe offers many food and snack choices. See Cafe days and hours.
Seating and Meeting spaces:
Seating is available on our lawn picnic tables on a first-come, first served basis. Or you may reserve space at the Maize by calling (503) 621-7110 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
**Please Note - The covered seating in the Patio Cafe area is reserved for patrons of the Cafe only.
~Never an entrance fee or parking fee to our farm.
~No pets due to food safety certifications.
Outside catering and outside food or outside alcohol is not permitted. The Patio Cafe offers a nice selection of food and drink items to purchase.MENU
We also do not allow personal or business tents or canopies for set up on our grounds. Spaces in The MAiZE are available for rent.
The Maize (Portland's original):
For general groups of 25 or more that book a reservation for The Maize and make one payment, we offer a discount of $1.00 off per person.

Pumpkin Patch Fieldtrips: We no longer offer the formal pumpkin-picking field trips which required a reservation. Instead, we now invite you to visit any time and to spend what you'd like on activities you are interested in. Your group can visit the kid-sized ($3) pumpkin field within easy walking distance or visit the large-sized ($5-$10) pumpkin field by walking to it or taking a free hayride.
*To pay for pumpkins as a group, your group must exit the hayride together. No pre-payments**
**For groups greater than 50 visiting Monday - Friday let us know the date and timeframe you are coming and we'll be sure to accommodate your group on the hayrides. Chaperones are required.
