Groups Information for October

Helpful information in planning for your group:

 

Free daily hayrides to the Pumpkin Field:

The free daily hayrides will begin at 10am in October and will run until 5:30pm. Ride the hay wagons together, walk to the fields, or purchase pre-picked pumpkins. To pay for pumpkins for your group, all pumpkins must be paid together at time of purchase.

Food:  

The Patio Cafe, open daily in October, 10am to 6pm, and until 10pm on Friday/Saturday nights. Offering grass-fed beef burgers, hot dogs, Gardenburgers, sandwiches, corn, desserts, snacks, and drinks. Specialty harvest fare booths are open October weekends only. View our menu and prices here. Certain snacks and treats can be pre-made for your group in October. Call for details. (503) 319-7080. Seating and Meeting spaces:

-Seating is available at our picnic tables on the lawn on a first-come, first served basis with a one-hour time limit. One table per group.

 

*(No personal tents, no outside food, no alcohol is permitted).

-For private space, reserve a bonfire tent at the Maize by calling (503) 621-7110 or email info@portlandmaze.com

**Please Note - The covered seating in the Patio Cafe area is reserved for patrons of the Cafe only.

Catering/Tents/Signs:

No outside catering, food, alcohol, personal signage or tents are permitted on the property. Also our farm is not conducive to client events.

 

Note!

~Never an entrance fee or parking fee to our farm.

~No dogs allowed due to USDA certifications.

Maize weekday field trips are $5 for non-profits and K-12 groups. Call for a reservation!

Weekday Fieldtrips:

Pumpkin Patch Fieldtrips: We invite school-aged groups to visit weekdays in October and enjoy the farm with the general public.

Take free hayride to the pumpkin field or choose from pre-picked pumpkins. Pumpkins range from $5- $15.

Enjoy the free Animal Barn and Giant Hay Pyramid. 

For groups larger than 50, just give us a call and let us know what time to expect you if you plan to take the hayride together. 503-621-3874.
